NURS 405 - Nursing Care of the Adult III

4 hrs (Sem I)
This course is designed to synthesize and evaluate concepts of health promotion, disease prevention, and risk reduction in the nursing care of adults with complex, multisystem conditions. Focus of pharmacological concepts related to adults of complex, multisystem conditions are emphasized. Clinical judgment, professionalism, collaboration and communication with the healthcare team and patient-centered care will be prioritized. This course is repeatable for credit. 2.5 class hours, 4.5 clinical laboratory hours.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of B- or better in NURS 395 .
