NURS 395 - Nursing Care of the Adult II

4 hrs (Sem II)
This course is designed to apply health promotion, disease prevention, and risk reduction in the nursing care of adults with simple, acute conditions. Focus on pharmacological concepts related to adults of simple, acute conditions are reinforced. Clinical judgment, professionalism, collaboration with the healthcare team, and culturally sensitive care will be emphasized.  This course is repeatable for credit. 2.5 class hours, 4.5 clinical laboratory hours.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of B- or better or concurrent enrollment in NURS 335  and a grade of C or better or concurrent enrollment in BIOL 208 /208L .
