NURS 335 - Nursing Care of the Adult I

4 hrs (Sem I)
This course is designed to introduce health promotion, disease prevention, and risk reduction in the nursing care of adults with medical-surgical conditions. Pharmacological concepts related to care of adults are introduced. Focus will be placed on clinical judgment, professionalism, collaboration, and cultural awareness. This course is repeatable for credit. 2.5 class hours, 4.5 clinical hours.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of B- or better or concurrent enrollment in NURS 301  and NURS 330 .
