FIRE 120 - Building Construction for Fire Protection

3 hrs (Sem II)
This course implements the Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education model curriculum for Building Construction for Fire Protection (C0275) and provides the components of building construction related to firefighter and life safety. The elements of construction and design of structures are shown to be key factors when inspecting buildings, preplanning fire operations, and operating at emergencies. 3 lecture hours.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in FIRE 111 ; or permission from the Fire Program Department Chair.
