A Two-Year Program Leading to the A.S. Degree

The Associate of Science in Public Relations and Communication transfer degree offers courses that enhance understanding and develop skills for career preparation, professional development, and personal growth. The courses will provide foundational knowledge in public relations and communication to students who want to enter the field of PR in an entry-level position or earn a baccalaureate degree in Public Relations and Communication. This program prepares students to be practitioners of strategic communication, advocating a cause or agenda while using communication narratives, social media, and building trust between organizations and their publics. Students graduating from this program will be able to demonstrate foundational PR skills, including persuasion and effective organization and strategic communication competencies.
