This program provides students with a comprehensive degree program in computer science and satisfies the Computer Science Transfer Single Articulation Pathway (TSAP) created under Indiana Senate Enrolled Act 182 passed in 2013. Learning outcomes are delivered through a blend of theory and hands on applications and projects. Students will be equipped to logically solve problems and design systems, while using advanced mathematic calculations and computational thinking. The A.S. in Computer Science prepares students for employment in various business, industry, and government positions that include computer scientists, information technology professionals, and software developers. After successful completion of this degree, students may enter the workforce at the entry- level position or transfer to a four-year baccalaureate degree program.
