A Two-Year Program Leading to the A.S. Degree

This degree program prepares students to enter into a career in Information Technology, specializing in Software Development of applications and systems. The Software Development program prepares students to develop, test, implement, and maintain the software applications on computers, web browsers, mobile devices, game consoles, and other devices. Students will learn programming and scripting languages, UI best practices, secure coding techniques, and the SDLC process through hands-on application of skills and techniques. Graduates of this degree program may be employed as Software Developers, Web Developers, System Analysts, Programmers, or transfer to a four-year baccalaureate degree program.
