Geological and Earth Science/Geosciences - Geological and Earth Science/Geosciences 4460, A.S.

A Two-Year Transfer Program Leading to the A.S. Degree

This curriculum leads to an A.S. degree in geological and earth science/geosciences with concentrations in agriculture, earth science, forestry and conservation, geography, and geology. This sequence of courses also meets the requirement for natural resources and environmental science concentrations. Depending upon the concentration selected, this curriculum is an excellent preparation for bachelor’s degrees in geology, natural resources, environmental science, agriculture, geography, forestry, and conservation. The agriculture concentration is a cooperative undergraduate program between Vincennes University and Purdue University. Students completing this agriculture concentration may  transfer directly to Purdue University or other baccalaureate institutions. For all concentrations, students should check and follow the specific degree requirements at transfer institutions where they intend to complete their baccalaureate degree. Students with a bachelor’s degree in any of these areas have excellent job and graduate school opportunities.
