EDUC 240 - Reading Instruction Using Children’s Literature
3 hrs (Sem I, II)
Using Children’s Literature to Teach Reading provides a review of classic and modern children’s books both learning about them from a literary sense, but, more importantly, about how they can be used to teach reading. The course focuses on teaching reading across age levels and employs research-based strategies about how children learn to read. 3 class hours.
Prerequisite(s): Students must qualify for ENGL 101 .
