HIMT 130 - Medicolegal Aspects of Health Records

3 hrs (Sem II)
This course includes discussion on concepts and principles of laws, concepts and principles of ethics, health records as legal documents, confidential communications, consents, authorization releases of information, privacy and security, and current trends in health legislation. 3 lecture hours.

Prerequisite(s): Students must qualify for placement into MATH 103 , or higher; and qualify for ENGL 101 , or higher.
