CIMT 250 - Robotics Safety and Integration

2 hrs (Sem I, II)
Safety Integration is emphasized utilizing industrial grade robots, Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi programmable logic controllers, HMI Terminals, conveyors, and other automated equipment. Students gain experience in developing safety circuits for robotic work cells and automated equipment.  Troubleshooting, along with creating Risk Assessments/Job Safety Analysis will be demonstrated and performed in the lab.   2 lecture hours.

Speaking Intensive Course

Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in CIMT 225  and CIMT 225L .  Corequisite(s): CIMT 250L .
