NURS 335 - Nursing Care of the Adult I

4 hrs (Sem I)
This course is designed to introduce health promotion, disease prevention, and risk reduction in the nursing care of adults with medical-surgical conditions. Pharmacological concepts related to care of adults are introduced. Focus will be placed on clinical judgment, professionalism, collaboration, and cultural awareness. 2.5 class hours, 4.5 clinical hours.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of B- or better or concurrent enrollment in NURS 301  and NURS 330 .
