MFNG 120 - Introduction to CNC
2 hrs (Sem I)
An introductory course in the theory, characteristics, and application of CNC machinery. Emphasis will be placed on process planning, programming efficiency, accurate setup, proper cutter selection, speeds and feeds, carbide tooling, and generation and interpretation of CNC code for general industry. This course will be offered at the VU Jasper Campus. 2 lecture hours.
