LAWC 270 - Conservation Law Enforcement Internship

3 hrs (Summer)
This internship allows interested and qualified Conservation Law Enforcement majors to work with a state Department of Natural Resources (DNR) agency.  Students will have an opportunity to work one-on-one with professionals within several divisions of the DNR, including the Law Enforcement Division.  This internship will allow the students to make valuable contacts, network in specific areas of interest, and learn techniques, skills, and laws that are used in the field.  The internship will be served during the summer semester. Students will be required to complete a minimum of 135 practicum hours.

Prerequisite(s): Students must be currently enrolled in the Conservation Law Enforcement program with completion of a minimum of 30 credit hours; and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
