LAWC 255 - Conservation and Management of Natural Resources


3 hrs (Sem II)
This course will focus on increasing a conservation officer’s understanding of wildlife and natural resources management principles. The course curriculum is designed to increase a student’s knowledge of ecological principles and wildlife management, as well as habitat, forest, grasslands, wetlands, and waterfowl conservation and management.  The course maintains a focus on an officer’s role in the protection of these natural resources.  Upon successful completion of the course and certification exam, students will receive the Ducks Unlimited: Ecology Conservation & Management certification.  3 lecture hours.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in LAWC 160  and BIOL 101 /101L  .
