EDUC 433 - Topics in Science Education and Adolescent Literacy and Reading Research

2 hrs (Sem II)
Topics from various areas of science education and/or science. In addition, this course is designed to help prospective secondary education teachers in all science content areas increase and enhance students’ learning through reading and writing by exploring the processes, principles and practices that support literacy development in the content area classroom. Offered in alternate (even-numbered) years. 2 lecture hours.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in 8 credits of science courses.
