Transfer Program Leading to the A.S. Degree
This curriculum is designed for students who wish to teach music. Upon completion of this program, students will be eligible to transfer to baccalaureate institutions in either a secondary education program leading to licensing as a teacher of choral, general, or instrumental music in grades 7 through 12 or an all grade education program leading to licensing as a teacher of choral, general, or instrumental music in grades K through 12.

The Reading, Writing and Speaking Intensive requirements may be met by MUSI 216 .
The Mathematics Intensive requirement may be met by a subsequent mathematics course or by passing a mathematics assessment examination.
A grade of C or better is required in all Basic Skills courses. Liberal Education Core (20-21)
Note
The Computer Skills requirement is met by Computers Across the Curriculum. Recommended Sequence of Courses
