A Two-Year Program Leading to the A.S. Degree

This program satisfies the Education, Special Transfer Single Articulation Pathway (TSAP) created under Indiana Senate Enrolled Act 182 passed in 2013. Students selecting this curriculum will complete the first two years of a four-year program leading to licensing as a teacher of special education. The students’ concentration in two areas of exceptionality, as required in a special education curriculum, will be pursued at a transfer institution. Graduates of this two-year program are qualified to work as teacher aides in special education classes.
