A Two-Year Program Leading to the A.S. Degree
This curriculum is for students who are interested in a career in Photography and Photography-related fields. Itprovides the first two years of foundation studies in visual art with an emphasis in photography, which are intended to transfer as the first two years at other institutions that offer a four year degree in photography. Continuation toward an advanced degree highly enhances one’s career opportunities in art and design related fields. Potential opportunities include: Photo Illustrator, Photo Editor, Freelance Photographer, Studio Photographer, Commercial Photographer, Museum and Gallery Director, Art Director, Studio Technician/Assistant or Photo Lab Technician, to name a few. Vincennes University is an accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, (NASAD).
