Advanced CNC Machining and Programming Technology 8472, A.S. Career/Tech

An intensive, 14-week program in Advanced CNC Machining and Programming Technology Leading to an Additional A.S. Degree

This is an intensive, 14-week program offered in the summer.  This program will be offered ONLY to those students who have completed all major course requirements of the 8470 Precision Machining program. Students enrolled in Advanced CNC Machining and Programming Technology will be instructed in the latest technologies related to computerized machining, the interrelationship of machining centers, CNC lathes, wire EDM and CMM. All General Education requirements will have been met by the previously completed first degree. Students intending to complete the Vincennes University Advanced Manufacturing B.S. Degree or the Purdue University Industrial Technology B.S. Degree through the VU partnership program are encouraged to consult with their advisor regarding specific course requirements.
