Precision Machining Technology 8470, A.S. Career/Tech


A Two-Year Program Leading to the A.S. Degree

This major prepares graduates for a career in manual and/or CNC machining, with an emphasis placed on building metal stamping dies, plastic injection molds and CNC programming. All students are required to provide a complete set of tools, as detailed in the departments Required Tool List. Students intending to continue into the Vincennes University Advanced CNC Machining and Programming A.S. degree, the Vincennes University Advanced Manufacturing B.S. degree or the Purdue University Industrial Technology B.S. degree are encouraged to consult with their advisor regarding specific course requirements.
