A Two-Year Program Leading to the A.S. Degree
This program is for students interested in pursuing a career in Graphic Design or Visual Communication. It serves as the first two years for bachelor’s degree “design” curricula at other institutions into which students may transfer. Majors use industry standard design software to create and publish a variety of design works including posters, brochures, logos, illustrations and social awareness campaigns. This program may be used as the basis for many design specific fields, such as computer graphics, web design, product design, publication design, illustration, display design, surface design, and corporate identity design. Continuation toward an advanced degree such as a B.F.A. or M.F.A., highly enhances one’s career opportunities in design. Vincennes University is an accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, NASAD.
