Computer Programming Technology 5450, A.A.S.


A Two-Year Program Leading to the A.A.S. Degree

This sequence of theory and practical applications of computer techniques is aimed at preparing students for entry-level positions as programmers. The goals are to build a solid foundation in several languages and computer usage. Students will develop skills in problem solving and be able to write code from design specifications.

Note


The Reading, Writing and Speaking Intensive requirements may be met by COMP 295 .

The Mathematics Intensive requirement may be met by a subsequent mathematics course or by passing a mathematics assessment examination.

A grade of C or better is required in all Basic Skills courses.
