Education - Mathematics 4000, B.S.


A Program Leading to a B.A. or B.S. Degree

This curriculum is designed for those planning to complete a bachelor’s degree leading to licensing as secondary teachers of mathematics. Students must be admitted into the Mathematics Education program and into Student Teaching. In addition, there are several additional mandatory requirements that students must meet (including appropriate background checks and passing required teacher examinations) at various points in the program. These additional requirements are stated in the Education Handbook and Student Teaching Handbook.

Note


The Reading, Writing and Speaking Intensive requirements may be met by EDUC 290 .

The Mathematics Intensive requirement may be met by MATH 118 .

A grade of C or better is required in all Basic Skills courses.
