A Two-Year Transfer Program Leading to the A.S. or A.A. Degree
This curriculum is designed for those planning to transfer to complete a baccalaureate program leading to licensing as secondary education teachers of mathematics. Students are advised to check with the transfer institution before selecting electives to assure their appropriateness.

Note
The Reading, Writing and Speaking Intensive requirements may be met by MATH 224 .
The Mathematics Intensive requirement may be met by MATH 118 .
A grade of C or better is required in all Basic Skills courses. Liberal Education Core (22-24)
Note
Computer Skills are enhanced by CSCI 159 . Recommended Sequence of Courses for A.S.
(This assumes any necessary developmental requirements have been met.) Note
1 Students should check specific requirements of baccalaureate institution.
2 Laboratory science electives are to be chosen from the following. Students wishing to concentrate on one specific area in science may choose 200-level courses in that area the second year. |
