PMTD 215 - Precision Die Tooling II

9 hrs (Sem I)
The focus of this course is to continue the study and the construction of the types of tooling used in today’s metal stamping industry. This could be accomplished through the construction of metal stamping dies, fixtures, prototypes or precision industrial details. Additional experience is gained in progressive die troubleshooting, assembly, and also in CNC machining techniques. 2 lecture hours, 18 laboratory hours.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in PMTD 150 .
