OADM 230 - Medical Insurance Billing
3 hrs (Sem II)
Students will study the International Classification of Diseases, (ICD-9-CM), and Physicians’ Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), developing a basic knowledge of these coding systems, creation of the health insurance claim form for reimbursement from insurance companies. 3 lecture/laboratory hours.
Prerequisite(s): A passing grade in OADM 170 .
