COMP 320 - Operating Systems
3 hrs (Sem II)
This course introduces students to Operating Systems using theory and practice to cover the fundamentals such as definitions, operations, function, evaluating, and comparing the different operating systems. Topics include memory management, processors, devices, files, networks, system, security and ethics. The course will also focus on applying the theory to specific operating systems. 3 lecture hours.
Prerequisite(s): A passing grade in COMP 295 .
