MGMT 281 - Business Event Marketing 3 hrs (Sem II) This course builds upon foundational marketing principles and emphasizes their applied use within event-based and experiential business environments. Emphasis is placed on audience engagement, branding, sponsorship strategy, promotional campaigns, digital and social media marketing, pricing strategies, and experiential marketing. Students will analyze how organizations market events and experiences, build brand loyalty, and drive consumer engagement across a variety of contexts, including community events, culinary experiences, agrotourism, esports and gaming, and other experience-driven initiatives. Through case studies and applied projects, students will develop data-informed marketing strategies and create a comprehensive applied marketing plan for an event-based or experiential organization. 3 lecture hours.
