SURV 165 - Instrumentation and Control Surveying

3 hrs (Sem I)
Concentrated study of levels, robotic/total stations, and GNSS units on the precision and efficiency in establishing horizontal and vertical control for a range of surveying projects. Emphasis will be on understanding the acceptable tolerances for projects, equipment, and methods required to achieve tolerances, as well as related calculations. 3 class hours.

Prerequisite(s): A passing grade or concurrent enrollment in SURV 100  or SURV 181 .
