NURS 242 - Roles of the Professional Nurse

2 hrs (Sem II)
This course is designed to assist students in preparation for the NCLEX-RN. Concepts included in this course include application of evidence-based practice, professionalism, leadership and management, client rights, ethical and legal considerations, delegation, nursing informatics, safety, and quality improvement. 2 lecture hours.

Writing Reading and Speaking Intensive Course

Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in ENGL 102 .  Corequisite(s): NURS 234 , NURS 235 , NURS 243 ; and COMM 143  or COMM 148 .
