PMTD 122 - Applied Machining Principles
4 hrs (Sem I)
This course builds upon the foundational machining skills developed in PMTD 120 Machining Principles, providing students with advanced training in high-precision machining techniques. Emphasis is placed on the theory and application of precision machining using both manual and CNC machine tools. Through classroom instruction and hands-on laboratory projects, students will refine their ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot machining processes while applying industry standards for accuracy and efficiency. 1 lecture hour, 9 laboratory hours.
Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better or concurrent enrollment in PMTD 120 .
