JOUR 110 - News Writing and Reporting

3 hrs (Sem I)
An introduction to reporting and news and feature story writing through the study of the elements of news, newsgathering, news story structures, reporting techniques and problems, and the fundamentals of news writing. The lab portion of the course will allow students to use these skills in the production of the student newspaper, the Trailblazer. 3 class hours.
