APPC 111 - Carpentry Applications I

3 hrs (Sem II)
This course is a core curriculum course for learners in the carpentry trade. Aligned with the NCCER curriculum, this course introduces construction drawings for flooring systems and covers framing basics for wood and engineered materials. It details the installation of floor, wall, and roof components, including framing for wood and steel structures. Learners explore stairway construction, moisture control, insulation, and the installation of building wrap, windows, skylights, and doors. 3 lecture hours.
