ABCC 110 - Basic Construction Skills

3 hrs (Sem I)
This course is a core curriculum course for learners in the construction industry. Aligned with the NCCER curriculum, this course reinforces the essential role of math in construction, covering calculations for plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC applications. It introduces the selection, use, and maintenance of hand and power tools while emphasizing safety. Learners explore construction drawings, their components, and measurement tools for accurate project execution. The course also covers rigging operations, communication skills, job readiness, and safe material handling, ensuring workers meet industry standards and workplace expectations. 3 lecture hours.
