LAWE 230 - Criminal Minds and Violence 3 hrs (Sem II) This course provides an in-depth exploration at the intersection of neuroscience and criminal behavior. Students will delve further into the biological, psychological, and environmental factors that contribute to contemporary criminal profiling. The course will cover topics such as brain development, genetics, and environmental influences which may increase the propensity for violence. Students will also explore the implications of neurocriminology for the criminal justice system and the treatment of offenders. 3 lecture hours.
