DESN 165 - Introduction to Screenprinting

3 hrs (Sem I)
An introduction to the theory and implementation of the screenprinting process will be studied and practiced. Various methods of creating screens will be explored, including cut paper and digitally produced stencils for printing on t-shirts. One- and multi-color projects will be produced on apparel and paper. Students will be encouraged to explore their own interests and conceptual ideas in the creation of the class projects. 6 studio hours.
