PHRM 225 - Practicum for Advanced Level

5 hrs (Sem II)
This course provides students experience in different pharmacy settings, including retail/outpatient and specialty/inpatient.  The students will be placed at affiliated pharmacies, under the supervision of a preceptor, to train in the aspects of technician responsibilities in that setting.  The students will have interactions with patients, pharmacy staff, and other healthcare professionals.  PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) exam review material and practice exams are provided for the students through the university learning management system. Minimum 225 practicum hours.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better or concurrent enrollment in PHRM 105 , PHRM 110 , PHRM 115 , PHRM 200 , PHRM 206 , PHRM 211 , and PHRM 220 .
