NURS 460 - Community Health Nursing

4 hrs (Sem I, II)
This course is designed to develop the student’s ability to apply nursing care at the population level.  Course content includes health promotion, disease and injury prevention, disaster preparedness, and health education.  Requirement for this course is an active registered nurse license. This course is repeatable for credit. 3.5 class hours, 1.5 clinical laboratory hours.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to the RN to BSN Completion Program.
