PHRM 115 - Pharmacy Law and Ethics for Technicians

3 hrs (Sem II)
This course introduces students to the legal and ethical standards in the practice of pharmacy.  This covers federal and state regulations, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), workplace safety, and other key topics.  The students will cover the concepts in the foundation of law and malpractice litigation and be exposed to legal concepts such as scope of practice, criminal and civil acts, liabilities, and negligence. 3 lecture hours.
