PHRM 105 - Pharmacology
3 hrs (Sem I, II)
This course is an introduction to the principles of pharmacotherapy, including basic pharmacology, medication management and safety. Students will be introduced to various systems of the human body and the most important drugs affecting these systems. Students will develop an understanding of drug classes and their mechanism of action when prescribed for a particular disease state. This course also includes basic medical terminology along with anatomy and physiology of the human body. 3 lecture hours.
