DESL 180 - Basic Power Generation Fundamentals
2 hrs (Sem II)
Students will be introduced to the principles of alternating current electricity, identifying
amperage, voltage, resistance, and how it relates to series and parallel circuits within alternating current. Familiarization with the above principles help to form a better understanding of the operating principles of AC generators and control equipment. 2 lecture hours.
Prerequisite(s): A grade of B or better or concurrent enrollment in DESL 121 and DESL 121L . Corequisite(s): DESL 180L
