ARTT 208 - Printmaking I 3 hrs (Sem I, II) This course introduces students to traditional and contemporary techniques used in printmaking. Emphasis is placed on traditional intaglio processes which include line etch, aquatint, soft ground, drypoint and lift ground techniques. Contemporary processes include monotype and photo process plates. Other processes may be explored. Additional emphasis is given to generating ideas, problem solving and critical thinking. 6 studio hours.
Speaking Intensive Course
Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in ARTT 116 .
