SOCL 181 - Therapeutic Interventions with Substance Abusers I

3 hrs (Sem I, II)
This is an introductory course into basic assessment and counseling skills with substance abusers. Exploration of the counselor’s values, psychological assessment and social/family history taking, interviewing skills, record keeping and legal liabilities will be covered with special application towards substance abusers. (Available as WEB-based course only.) 3 lecture hours.
