PHYT 101 - Technical Physics
4 hrs (Sem I, II)
An introductory course designed for technology majors. The course covers measurement, motion, force, work, energy, power, simple machines, torques, properties of materials, fluids, hydraulics, sound, heat, and electricity. 3 lecture hours, 2 laboratory hours.
Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in MATH 010 , or a CPTS EA score of 40 or greater, or a CPTSAR score of 64 or greater and a CPTS EA score of 32 or greater.
