TECH 455 - Problem Solving
3 hrs (Sem II)
Prerequisite(s): Junior level standing or consent of the instructor. This course is designed to introduce students to problem solving techniques which can be applied to create a more productive and efficient work environment. Topics will include, but are not limited to: problem identification, idea generation techniques, information assessment, resource analysis and allocation, ergonomics, workplace efficiency, technical communication, and group leading/interaction. The course will also cover how simple, ingenious solutions have changed the world we live in. 3 lecture hours.
