Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in READ 009 and ENGL 009 , or SAT Reading and Writing scores of 380 or greater, or appropriate placement test scores. Introduces fundamental concepts and skills for effective public speaking including audience analysis, outlining, research, delivery, critical listening and evaluation, and the use of visual aids/technology.
