FINC 205 - Money and Banking 3 hrs This course presents the basic economic principles most closely related to the subject of money and banking in a context of topics of interest to present and prospective bank management. The course stresses the practical application of the economics of money and banking to the individual bank. Some of the subjects covered include structure of the commercial banking system, banks and the money supply, bank investments and loans, the Federal Reserve System and its policies, and the international monetary system. 3 lecture hours.
