COMP 175 - Principles of Computer Programming 3 hrs (Sem I, II) This course is a language-independent introductory programming course that orients students to programming concepts and logic without assuming any previous programming experience. Material covered will allow students to become comfortable with fundamental concepts and logical thought processes used in programming without the emphasis on a specific programming language. To enhance the acquisition of flowcharting and pseudocode concepts, the Visual Basic and Alice programming languages will be introduced. 3 lecture/laboratory hours.
