ASLG 111 - The Deaf Community
3 hrs (Sem I, II)
Prerequisite(s): A grade of C or better in READ 011 and ENGL 009 , or SAT Reading score of 420 and SAT Writing score of 380 or greater, or appropriate placement tests scores. This course is designed to acquaint students with some of the basic sociological concepts which can be applied to the analysis of the community in which the deaf and the hard-of-hearing live. 3 lecture hours.
